Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy


  • 4 Ribbed Loin Chops (need fat on chops)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tbls Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste


1.)   Heat electric skillet to medium heat.
2.)   Add oil and brown chops on both sides. Add salt and pepper to taste.
3.)   Mix soup and 1/3-1/2 can of water until smooth. Pour over pork chops.
4.)   Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer in electric skillet for 3-4 hours.
  
Crockpot: Brown pork chops on stove prior to placing in crock pot. Cook on low.

Tuna (Or Chicken) Noodle Casserole



  • 1 (8 Oz) Package Dried Egg Noodles
  • 2 (7 Oz Each) Cans Of Tuna (Or 1-12 Oz Can Of Cooked Chicken), Drained
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom or Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 C. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1.)   Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add noodles. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
2.)   Put noodles back into pot.
3.)   Add cans of tuna (or chicken) and can of creamed soup. Stir together. Add ½ can of water to mixture and stir.
4.)   Place in a greased 8x8x2 or 2 quart casserole dish.
5.)   Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
6.)   Add cheddar cheese. Bake for 5 more minutes.


Chicken and Rice Casserole



  • 6 pieces of chicken- breasts, thighs, drums
  • 2 cups long grain rice
  • 2 cans cream of chicken, mushroom or celery soup
  • 4 tbl butter, melted
  • ½ can water

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or spray casserole dish
  2. Place chicken at the bottom of dish.
  3. Mix rice soup and butter together in bowl. Add water and mix. Pour over chicken.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for ~1 hour.

Meatloaf/ Swedish Meatballs


  • ½ Teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1½ Lbs. ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon dried onions
  • 1 egg
  • 2-3 tablespoons ketchup
  • Parsley
  • 2 Teaspoons Worcester Sauce
  • Bread Crumbs (Meat Loaf Only)
  • Brown Gravy Mix (Swedish Meatballs Only)

1.) Hand mix together all common ingredients together in a large bowl. Add breadcrumbs if making meat loaf.
 Meatloaf:
2.) Preheat oven to 350°
3.) Shape in pan to look like a loaf.
4.) Add ketchup on top.
5.) Cook for 1 hour per pound of meat.


Swedish Meatballs:

2.) Mix gravy according to package directions. Set aside.
3.) Roll meat into 1 ½ inch balls and place in a large skillet (that has a lid) over medium heat.
4.) When brown on outside, add gravy. Simmer with lid over low heat till firm and gravy is really thick.
5.) Serve over rice or noodles.
